Leaving the Group

If you're leaving the group, then I hope that your next steps bring you nothing but joy and fulfillment in all that you do!
Please ensure that you complete the following checklist of items before your end date:
Return any loaned items from the group.
Ensure that all of your research data is backed up on a group-owned resource (i.e. beyond being stored on the cluster itself).
If you have any manuscript drafts in the works, share this with me as well.
Deactivate any group-licensed software, if applicable. I will need to deactivate your VASP license.
Drop off your keys.
Schedule an exit meeting with me where we will discuss your time in the group and your next steps.
I will always be here to help you and provide guidance in any way that I can, even when you're no longer in the group. If wish to do so, please stay in touch! Your success in life means a lot to me, and nothing would make me happier than to hear about major life updates.
